Paul F. X. Yasi
In Memoriam – April 29, 1960 – May 6, 2026
It is with great sadness that the team at Yasi & Yasi, P.C. advises our valued clientele of the passing of our founding partner, Attorney Paul F.X. Yasi, on May 6, 2026.
Paul passed peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Paul continued to work and enjoy life with his family and friends through his illness, and he was forever positive from the date of his diagnosis, through treatment, and even in his final days. His courage was amazing for all of his family, friends and colleagues to witness and experience. That will remain a bedrock of the warm memories we all will have of Paul’s legacy moving forward.
While Paul will be sorely missed at the firm, rest assured our team was well prepared for this time, and the firm has and will continue to thrive and move forward despite Paul’s absence.

- $11,500,000- Class Action recovery for all elderly tenants of an Assisted Living Residence (ALR) in MA. This Class Action also changed the policy of ALRs going forward making ALRs more affordable for the elderly and also changed the terms of their leases going forward by providing them more protection.
- $6,000,000 settlement for an electrical shock injury at work.
- $2,700,000 settlement for a severe hot water scalding injury.
- $2,000,000 settlement for a 91 year old contracting legionella disease from an apartment water source.
